Ulla Frisch

a versatile artist, graphic designer and printmaker

Ulla Frisch was born in Vienna but came to England in 1938 and lived mostly in Cambridge until her death, aged 98, after a long and full life, in 2019. She was a graphic designer and artist working in various media. Works range from tiny wood engravings to much larger lino cuts, collages, drawings and paintings and some three-dimensional items. A selection of Ulla's prints and collages, some pottery creatures and items relating to her life are on display at Stapleford Granary until 25 August 2026.
