Ulla Frisch
a versatile artist, graphic designer and printmaker
Ulla Frisch was born in Vienna but came to England in 1938 and lived mostly in Cambridge until her death, aged 98, after a long and full life, in 2019. She was a graphic designer and artist working in various media. Works range from tiny wood engravings to much larger lino cuts, collages, drawings and paintings and some three-dimensional items. If you were unable to get along to see Ulla's art at the
Arts and Crafts Fair at the end of November 2024, some
examples of her work were exhibited at the Cambridge Natural
History Society's 3rd online NatHistFest in November 2022.
